Five sub-regional Focus Groups provided the opportunity to share information across jurisdictions and identify innovation and good practice. The Focus Groups were in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Sofia and Frankfurt. In the case of the first four, the project partner acted as host.
In advance of the each Focus Group participants were sent a Briefing Pack, to help to establish a shared understanding of case management and the project. The Subject Experts conducted a telephone interview with each jurisdiction to draw up a draft System Map.

There was a high level of interaction and excellent feedback.
The Focus Groups met the objectives of gathering comparative information and of enabling the correspondents from different jurisdictions to learn from one another.
The project is confident that as result there is a more consistent under-standing of Case Management and of what constitutes good practice in it.
